About Squares

Squares is a social platform that allows users to join location-based communities, communicate with other users, share content, discover places and events, and interact with local communities.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and must meet any higher minimum age required by the laws applicable to you.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You may not impersonate another person, create accounts for fraudulent purposes, attempt to access another user’s account, or interfere with the operation or security of Squares.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create and submit to Squares. By posting or uploading content, you grant Squares a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt and process that content as necessary to operate, secure, improve and provide Squares.

Acceptable use

You may not use Squares to publish or facilitate illegal content, threats, harassment, hate-based abuse, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, fraud, spam, malware, intellectual-property infringement, or other material that creates a serious risk of harm.

Moderation and enforcement

Squares may remove content, restrict visibility, limit features, suspend accounts or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe these Terms or our Community Guidelines have been violated.

User-generated content

Squares does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, safety or completeness of user-generated content. Information provided by users should not be treated as professional advice unless independently verified.

Places and events

Location, place, map, event and business information may be provided by users or third-party providers and may be inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable or outdated.

Third-party services

Squares may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Changes to the service

We may modify, add, remove, suspend or discontinue features of Squares. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Squares is provided “as is” and “as available”. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Account deletion and termination

You may stop using Squares at any time and may delete your account through the account deletion functionality.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
